Devlog 0: Animation Ideas


For the final exploration of this semester, I'm going to use Unity and attempt to create some unique facial expressions and animations based on concepts I created last year for my game pitch, SnippetQuest.

The idea boils down to attempting to replicate simplistic faces and expressions as seen in games like Henry Stickmin in a 3D environment. Solid, monochromatic, "flat" lines for eyes and mouths that squash and stretch in cartoonish ways. This is something I've dabbled in already, so I'm looking forward to committing time to working on it.
